This is the largest reproduction of the "Krazy Kat" Sunday strips I have seen, and it still is too small for these aging eyrs. Still, this is a wonderful series of books reproducing Herriman's masterpiece at its full-page best. I'm amazed at this mid-point of the strip's existence how inventive Herriman was able to be with what was basically a pretty limited cast of characters. There are some fine annotative articles (also reprinted too small), with the final article a piece about the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's creative reproductions of Herriman's artwork.
