This is a wonderful book. Many people exaggerate and are not always honest about their lives. Uncle James sent letters with tales and promises that gave the family something to dream of as they struggled through life. When the truth is finally found out, the author does an exceptional job of showing how this family finds love and forgiveness. ( )
