Love this series! Hunger Games drew me to look for more by Collins and I'm glad that I did. This series is written for the younger crowd which I haven't previously been that involved in, but I may be digging deeper if this book is any sign of what they have to offer.

It was very engaging (especially considering that many of the characters aren't human and I'm usually not an animal person). :)

I also love that I can feel absolutely comfortable with this book being picked up by my kids. We can read it together and not come upon any issues that are out of their league (my 8 year old tends to wander on my bookshelf). But at the same time there is plenty to consider long after you put the book down. It's a really fantastic and entertaining option! ( )
