My View:

I've read many of Maya Banks books and I have to say she is one of the stars of erotic romance. For me there are thee kinds of erotic novels. The one that dives into sex in the first few pages and leaves your pulse racing throughout the book, the book that just throws in sex for the sake of sex and the novel that tells a story and include scenes of erotic romance throughout a story.



In this sensual suspense, Maya takes a little time out for the reader to get to know the characters. It would be easy to throw these four individuals into a room and say go ahead and get to the sex part. Let's face it what woman wouldn't fantasize about having three sexy, strong men devote their lives, love and sex life to you, but when it comes down to it in real life these things just don't happen. It takes some time for Reggie to come to grips with it. Maya does a great job in playing out those scenes. At times Reggie seems a bit to stubborn, but really how many women would be so easy to accept this situations and the changes it would bring to her life.



As far as the suspense part of the story. There I was a little disappointed. I liked the story line, but thought the cops were a bit on the hick side. I mean come on, most readers would have figured out the end of the book in the first two chapters and yet the cops didn't even ask the proper questions. With working so hard to establish the characters in the story, it would have been in line to at least make the cops have some depth in the story, as well. ( )

This was an awesome book. Many times in menage books the problem is that the characters actually making the relationship work in the long run is not addressed well. Reality does not always step in. In this one, they address it very well, they reveal the issues they are having and the need to deal with them. There was great character development and emotion in this story. The suspense was also very good, it kept me guessing and kept moving.

I really liked this book alot. The characters were highly believable and the story fit the characters. The sexual chemistry was very hot and the love scenes were HOT.
I am looking forward to reading more by this author!!!

Why are Maya Banks books so hot? It's not just her skillful handling of menage situations, it's the emotion that underscores the relationships of her characters that draws me to her stories. "Be With Me" is another excellent offering from the queen of menage HEAs.

Regina, or Reggie, has been running from her three best friends for the past year. Ever since a night of scorching sex, she's been unable to come to terms with what she wants, what she's afraid they want, and what society can handle. But her running time has just come to an end. When she's attacked and beaten on her job as a cop and it looks like it might have been a set-up just for her, nothing can keep her three men away. Now Reggie will have to make a decision...to keep her loves or let them go.

Hutch, Cam, and Sawyer are all so different. All three were children in the social services system until, one by one, they were taken in by Birdie. Under her care they became brothers and now run a construction company together. The bonds they have with each other are just as strong as the love all three hold for Reggie. When she's attacked, they all agree that it's time to face the future. And these three will do what's necessary to make sure Reggie is a part of it.

Although I really can't see how the situation would work in real life, it's hard not to long to be loved so fiercely. Maybe that's what Banks readers enjoy so much...well that and the scorching sex! The mystery was not as good as some of her past books, but the three heroes make up for it...in spades. You'll fall in love with all three and then start tapping your toes waiting for Banks next book. ( )
