by Andrew Pyper Book 10. The Lost Girls by Andrew Pyper. I really enjoyed his newest book, The Killing Circle and so thought I'd read another. Pyper writes really creepy, menacing psychological thrillers set in the big city of Toronto and in the small, Northern towns above Lake Superior. Not only do they ... I have just read two books in a row by Andrew Pyper. He writes really creepy thrillers with fantastic endings. Both The Killing Circle and The Lost Girls are set partially in Toronto and partially in northern towns on the edge of the Canadian Shield. They aren't great literature, but page ... The Killing Circle by Andrew Pyper is pure thriller. It's set in Toronto and in the lonely towns that dot the spine of Lake Superior. There's lots about Canadian weather and Toronto is well described and each scene is set in a specific part of that city. I would definitely long to live there ... Book 5. The Killing Circle by Andrew Pyper is a very satisfying story about a guy who joins a writing group, steals the bones of a story from another member and then finds that the story he wrote may not be fiction. This is scary stuff and features a very frightening serial killer, an ... I won Killing Circle in July, I think, but never got it. It's on the list for October. My ARC of The Killing Circle was an e-ARC. While I would have preferred a physical book, given the chance to read a new book for free or not at all I'll pick read it for free any day ... ... Deceived Sweetheart of The Last Oracle. The Oracle suggested I should deliver The Book of Matthew to his friend in The Killing Circle. But as I neared my destination, my car broke down, and now its not much more than a Mercedes Coffin.
Okay--I'll admit it...that was silly...;o) ... I was a middle aged (The Richest Season) Latina (Dirty Girls on Top) who has an interest in writing and killing? (The Killing Circle)
I haven't read the newest one yet, so I can't say anything about that! But I've enjoyed all the books I've received so far! ... in Chicago and one of the participants in the peace marches) and a murder mystery afficianado (hopefully not a murderer) (The Killing Circle, Any Given Doomsday, and Mr. White's Confession ~ right again, as I love mysteries). Not sure what Brideshead Revisited means ~ that I like ... Still haven't seen hide nor hair of The Killing Circle or of Miami and the Siege of Chicago, which was, I think, from the April or May batch. I'm not even wondering yet about the August book not having come.
I've heard others say they got their ER books as long as 3-4 months after they ... #59, 129, 167 ~ Still no The Killing Circle here in Los Angeles. Bookmarque, did you hapen to get your copy yet? #35--I checked and my copy of the Killing Circle showed up on august 2. I'm in the Santa Clarita Valley, just 40 miles north of LA, so if you're in my area, I'd definitely drop Abby a line. #8, 10, 12, 13 ~ I haven't received Killing Circle yet either. I'm out in California, too, which is where a couple of you are located. Should I be concerned?
Edited to correct error. Killing Circle from the July batch is still AWOL. First time this has happened for me. Everything else has come in quickly. Still no Killing Circle. So. . .last week I received The Killing Circle by Andrew Pyper from St. Martin's Press. It is a paperback ARC, uncorrected proof. Inside was a letter from the editor advising me that the book ... ... to read it. But here it is, with August half over, and still no sign of the book!
I did, however, get my JULY book, The Killing Circle by Andrew Pyper last week. It was an ARC book, in trade paperback form. Inside was a letter from the publisher (St. Martin's Press) telling me the ... The Killing Circle is kind of a strange book (as in not exactly what I was expecting), but I did like it.
I am now reading and almost finished with Miracle Girls which releases in September. It's Christian YA and actually really enjoyable. I'm having a hard time getting into The Killing Circle.
