Maybe you are unlucky enough to be involved with an infant-disguised-as-an-adult who is touched by narcissism, or even full-blown Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I know I am. Read this. A good book to read if you are just starting out in the working world - populated by many of the above named. If you are interested in this subject, you may want to check out the Christopher Lasch "classic" from the 1960s, The Culture of Narcissism. Another recent work which was very helpful to me was The Narcissistic Family, written for therapists but perfectly understandable to laymen (like me). no reviews | add a review

This book has nothing to do with hand-to-hand combat. It is however an excellent introduction to mental self-defence.
If you are like me and don't live in a world inhabited exclusively by teletubies, then you will probably find the information contained in this book useful. (
