... books with Boston (or Boston area) settings are some of the classics such as some of Hawthorne's books. I also enjoyed The Heretic's Daughter recently which of course was historical fiction set on the North Shore.

#7 and 8 - add my vote for The Heretic's Daughter. I liked it even better than Deliverance Dane, although I thought that was a good book too.

The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent is fantastic, I can't recommend it highly enough.

#224 - I loved The Heretic's Daughter. I agree with you about the writing. I had to re-read The Eight first, but finally started The Fire a couple of days ago. I'm really enjoying it.

I just started The Heretic's Daughter after a brief break from arcs, and I'm finding the writing to be lovely. The language is so descriptive and beautiful without being overly flowery. I've not gotten too far into it, but it's got the potential to be among my favorites for the year.

Holy Moly! I received The Heretic's Daughter, The Power Makers and The Watercooler Effect yesterday. I emailed all of them via ads on Shelf Awareness.

I got a copy of the Heretic's Daughter in the mail yesterday, with no confirmation e-mail from Shelf Awareness, so there is hope! And I also emailed the author of the Forbidden Daughter asking for a review copy. She said she'd mail me a galley a week or so ago, but I've yet to receive it :-)
