"Trifles make perfection and perfection is no trifle." - Michelangelo
Four hundred twenty-two people were reported to have died on U.S. highways during the Labor Day weekend of 1977. Jerry Fried, the original editor of this book, was one of those statistics. The manuscript for this book was with him at the time, as he was delivering it to the publisher. Without his help and patience this book would not be. We'll miss him.
To the memory of Jerome Fried.
ZZ - The operating initials of this book's author Fred L. Worth as an air traffic controller with the Federal Aviation Administration.
