That was a quick read! I started and finished it over lunch! I checked it out because of my new interest in geocaching. The Boxcar Children (the Alden kids) enter a contest put on by a local radio station, and win after they find clues around town to solve the puzzle. It wasn't called geocaching in this story, since most geocachings are single finds--but some have clues like that. Anyway, I understand why my 2nd grade students enjoyed this series back in the early to mid-1990s. I'm told the books are still pretty popular. ( )
