Sort of masala read. Nothing memorable, except perhaps Batman's attraction for Bekka, wife of Orion and his lament of not having a life. ;) ( )

A fairly interesting story in which a debilitated Darkseid takes over Superman's mind, forcing him to retrieve the device that could restore his power. Batman comes to the rescue; other players are Killer Croc, Lex Luthor, Scarecrow, Lois Lane, Pete Ross and one or two other minor players. The intriguing part of the story is Batman's mutual fascination with Bekka, Orion's wife. Even though Batman's passion toward Bekka is borne of her power to create desire, it is fascinating to see the usually unflappable Dark Knight fall sway to desire for another. Other than that, a decent story and good art. ( )
