Liked it but felt the editor chose conflicts. While exploartion is full of conflicts, the fact that he chose the one fatality in the always fascinating Lewis and Clark Journals seems to indicate that he equates conflict with excitement or interest. Otherwise, a nice group of stories to introduce someone to what explorer stories are like ( )
