I may not have liked this when I was younger, or if I hadn't already fallen in love with Pullen's quirky art style.  But right now I'm at the point in my life where I can really appreciate this ode to the power of imagination.  And I really enjoyed carefully watching the dad on each page. ( )

Searching through the attic the little boy finds his dads "old radio flyer". The little boy works on the radio flyer to repair it so he can use it. He works on it all day Tuesday to try and make it into a flying radio flyer. Thursday he tries to fly it but it didn't work. Finally on Friday it "flew" as his dad was the one making it fly.
