Riddle Rhymes has a sequence of poems. One of my favorites was "October's Colorful Friends" which is about leaves turning colors and then falling from the trees. And what children might do with the leaves. I liked how all the poems are a guessing game and at the end of the poem its tells you what the poem is about if you haven't figured it out. Great book for children. ( )

From the wind to the clocks, halls, kites, fire trucks etc., this book covered it all! The author did a great job with incorporating such a wide variety of of elements to teach children. The book was playful yet practical and very factual. I would like to use this book in my onw classroom. ( )
