A bit old, yet the coverage of a Chicago reporter of Obama's Illinois races for stte office and national office are very detailed and useful as a guideline to where he started. The author went to Hawaii to personally visit his school and meet his grandmother and sister and some frends. The book ends on the cusp of the presidential campaign. Excellent ( )
