A stolen necklace and a mysterious note are all Jigsaw Jones, boy private eye, needs to start working on a classmate's case. But when the thief requests that Jigsaw pay the ransom in person, he becomes more than just the detective on the case. That, combined with a haunted scarecrow at the spooky Rigby place and a vandal who keeps ripping down their yard work advertisements in the neighborhood keep Jigsaw and his friends busy solving the mystery.
