Centraal in dit boek over performance (prestatie) staat het gedrag van medewerkers en managers: performance wordt niet bepaald door persoonlijkheid maar door gedrag. De auteur sprak wereldwijd met ruim 5000 managers en stelde aan de hand daarvan een aantal eenvoudige principes op die van invloed kunnen zijn op het beter presteren van mensen en organisaties. Hij benadert het thema vanuit gedragswetenschappelijk perspectief en onderbouwt zijn bevindingen met vier praktijkvoorbeelden. Een overzichtelijk en helder geschreven boek voor managers en andere eindverantwoordelijke functies.
