Mr.Lumley.....Mr. Lumley. You are the shadow under the door in the night. The cold chill of a wispy fog that refuses to give our souls any respite as it wraps around our inner being. This book has some of Lumley's best short stories. One moment you feel as if you are reading Lovecraft the next moment you are thrown into a Howard like Conanish type world of adventure. Five stars is not enough. (
