In the final analysis, of the four features of heaven and earth language examined in this study, only the phrase "kingdom of heaven" is peculiar to Matthew. That the other themes are related to and compliment this phrase may be the case, but that they are so important to Matthew as to be consistently and distinctively employed seems to go beyond the evidence provided by Synoptic analysis.
