This book had good information, but unfortunately it was very difficult to read. Almost every other sentence was in bold, or italics, or underlined, or offset, or in a slightly bigger font. It's hard to see any organization when everything looks like a section heading.

I think the sample drills may be a bit difficult for a first-year coach. It was also hard to figure out where some things fit into the proposed weekly schedule. The pictures that were included were mostly taken from far away and thus were barely useful (more diagrams would have helped).

This book sounds like a great all-in-one compilation, but it's a bit too much for beginners. Beginners would also want a second book of drills to supplement the ones in this title. ( )
