This is a delightful little story that one might consider to be a fairy tale. The story is similar to that of Demeter and Persephone and this edition includes that story in back along with a version of The King of the Golden Mountain and a short discussion on Anatole France's style. This is book number 15 of the Kings Treasuries of Literature Series. ( )
