This book takes you through the history and culture of the Mayan lifestyle. It touches briefly on science and technology of the ancient Mayan’s; however, the brief information included is very useful. Students can briefly learn how the Maya culture contributed to astrology and their obsession of time. I rate this book a 2 out of 5 because it only touches on how the Mayan’s contributed to science. I really liked this book because of the interesting pictures and interesting facts. I rated this book a 3/5 due to the interesting information, but lack of sufficient science information. This will be a great book for short lessons in the classroom. ( )
