A fair introduction to eschatology. Generally I greatly enjoy Dr. Sproul's writing. This book didn't meet my expectations. It seemed to be a large annotated bibliography rather than a Biblical study on eschatology. It read like a report on what others thought about end times; it should have presented much more Biblical support. ( )

This is, essentially, a breakdown of the Preterist perspective of eschatalogical time in the New Testament. Very well written and analyzed with useful charts and scripture layouts. What I found most disappointing was that Sproul essentially took no stance in conclusion, leaving the reader hanging at the end. ( )
