A great scientific look into dolphins by an eccentric LSD-using biologist. ( )

A fascinating book about experiments to teach dolphins to communicate with human beings. I used this for an 11th-grade English paper, and it led me to a fascination with the idea of cetacean intelligence. Lilly makes a strong case for their intelligence, but to my knowledge his endeavors never led to true interspecies communication. ( )
