Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0881001112, Paperback)

In a chilling preview of the events of September 11th, 2001, Arab terrorists conduct an airborne suicide attack on Denver International, the crown jewel of American airports. Nicolas McCayne, a Denver University professor who is under an Iranian death decree, discovers that the terrorists are planning to attack the airport. His warning to authorities, including the date and time of the attack, places DIA in maximum security mode. Only at the last minute, however, does McCayne learn how the attack is to take place: a bomb-laden cargo plane is to crash through the tented roof of the main terminal, the heart of DIA's operation. Too late to warn anyone, he steals a small plane and chases after the terrorists in a desparate attempt to foil their evil plan. Published in 1999, Decree provides an invaluable insight into the mind of the Islamic extremist.
