This book was written originally as a family history for the Harder and Quiring family trees. In the process of gathering data I discovered that the wealth of information I was coming across was sometimes hard to find and would add depth to the book. Other researchers were looking for the same information and I could save them the 100's of hours that I had spent looking for it if I documented the sources carefully. The result is a book that is 50% about the Mennonite migrations from Prussia, etc. and 50% about the specific families that are noted in the book. Enjoy! ( )

Book description
The story provides an overview of the Mennonite believers that settled in Prussia and then migrated into the Ukraine in the late 1700's, later migrating to Canada and the U.S. in the late 1800's. The families that are traced in this story are the Harder and Quiring families in particular but many other family surnames are included as part of the genealogy.
