This is a very useful book, even more useful than the title implies. It is not just about how to use the physical characteristics of a patient, althugh it describes that as well. The first half of the book describes Bentley's miasm theory, which is based firmly on the classics, but which he extends to include a syco-luetic miasm and a syco-psora miasm. To me this does make more sense than the multiple miasms from Sankaran, and I think this will work well in practice. The second half of the book links the miasms to facial characteristics. I am still trying this out so don't know how well it will work, but first results seem promising.
