None. So, all my friends thought it was weird that I was reading a book that was a video game, but I loved it! Lots of action and I love the characters Starkiller and Proxy. I enjoyed reading the Sith style of fighting which is something not all Star Wars books have a lot of. It's also cool to see Starkkiller's view of the Dark Side. Great book for gamers! ( )Starkiller is a secret apprentice to Darth Vader. To prove he is ready to come out of hiding, Darth Vader sends him on several missions to kill Jedi that are in hiding. Helping him are his droid Proxy, and a fighter pilot, Juno. As he fights the Jedi, he begins to question if what he has been taught is correct. This was so-so. Because Starkiller believes in the Dark Side of the Force the story is darker. There is lots of anger, betrayal and hate as well as Sith style fighting, aka destroy everything. I never really connected with any of the characters. The writing was a little choppy and I found the third person narratives to be oddly phrased. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but I kept stumbling over the writing. It made a better video game than a book. I was not impressed as the story unfolded. Part 1 "Imperial" had so much promise and then things just spiraled down. I felt like I was getting patches of other novels strung together instead of original new material. Also, I felt like the plot line conflicts with Rebel Dawn. In this book you will see peaple fight with laser swords guns that shoot plasma and battle droids fighting clones. Though this book is action packed and great for any true Star Wars fan, the extreme over-use of Sith character violence makes it not so hot and similar in content to that of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and I recommend it for those who liked that movie. But its action differs in a worse way to the style of the movies except that one. Though I must admit, it was better written than the official versions of the original trilogy. no reviews | add a review
