Well, maybe. I took months to read this book; it was on my nightstand for at least a year. I remember thinking it was the most boring book I had ever read, and only my excellent self-discipline led me to work my way through it (I write that ironically). And yet… something did keep me at it. That was many years ago, in the early 1990s I think. Perhaps I should give it another go. I know: one of the last books, so I can tell the Reaper, No, wait a minute, wait at least until I finish reading this book…
