Amazon.com Product Description (ISBN 0595323197, Paperback)

'It was clear that the Rees-Somers family were the cause of practically all the Moldefroyes' problems and they seemed to keep on getting away with things. Buster became determined to stop them once and for all.'

Dustin's grandfather, the Eighth Earl Moldefroye, has just died leaving Moldefroye Castle and a mountain of debt for Dustin's father, the new Earl, to pay to the Tax Man. Bankruptcy looms, the neighbours from Hell are poised to take over the castle and Dustin gets bullied into the bargain. Only Buster and the rest of the VICs can save the Moldefroyes from financial ruin and deal with the revolting Rees-Somers family. The question is, when all seems hopeless, how?

Cattus Magicus is the first part of a trilogy about six Very Important Cats (the VICs) who include Fifi, Hector, Chad, Luigi and the long-lost Midas, each of whom who can do magic by the twitch of their tails. Enslaved by witches for hundreds of years, they escaped when their owner-witches were hanged at the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. Today, they are magic cats living in the real world, whose sole purpose in life is to help children with problems, whilst at the same time trying to avoid being re-enslaved into the witch world.
