I love Half Magic and Knight's Castle but this has none of the charm and delicate touch of either of those. It was preachy and ham handed and just not at all what I wanted. This book is about a group of kids, Laura, Lidia, James, Kip, and Gordy. They find a they found a wishing well in a forest last summer and from then on it has helped the kids. But one day, the well didn't reaspond, the well's magic was gone! And then Gordy threatend the well and it started working again! After that, all autum they had magical adventures. I liked this book because I like the way that Edward Eager made each chapter in a diferent perspective of each character. I also really like each magic thing that happens has a unque twist to it. no reviews | add a review
