Humor that my preschoolers understand and enjoy. They like Morris and Amelia Bedelia, but they don't always catch the humor. This book had them laughing out loud, looking at me with slant glances to see if I shared their sentiment. I appreciated the author's note on the sources for her silly stories. Very nice.

These simple tales detail the Brown family doing silly things- like swimming in an empty pool. They're not the brightest, but they're enjoying themselves. ( )
