Two early works by SF great Arthur C. Clarke. Both of these were good stories but neither were up the the quality we expect for this author. ( )

Exquisite. As someone said to me recently "Amongst all the scientist SF authors, Clarke would write" and that about sums it up. ( )

This is an omnibus of two of Clarke's novellas. The second was later turned into a novel, The City and the Stars. I can't say these are Clarke's best works. I read them years ago but have never had the slightest urge to reread them. ( )
