None. I have loved this series since it was first published (before 2000) and the build up was leading to the millenium and saving the world. Since the final book never came out, I assumed when she would republish the books she would change what the build up for the end of the world would be something other than the millenium (like maybe the Mayan 2012) but was surprised and disappointed to see that was not the case. However, I still love the series just as much now as I did when it first came out, and am so excited to finally see Strange Fate conclude this beautiful story. I love this entire series. But honestly, these stories really go lax on the romance, which is my favioret part of a story. That combined with the falling out of the long promised conclusion of this sereis has lead me to not like it as much. This gets a 3/5 In this book, there are 3 separate stories. Basically, it's about the NIGHT WORLD, which apparently always existed, but that most people don't know about. There are vampires and werewolves, shape-shifters, and witches. The first story is about a half vampire and half human girl. The second one is about a vampire prince, and the third one is about a lost witch, destined to become the witch-child. These stories are all about people who uncovers their true nature, and discovers who and what they really are : a wild power. They are supposed to have the power to save the world. In this book, it explains the concept of a soul-mate, as all of them fall in love with a person that seems least likely to be their soul-mate. This book was really awesome, and a real cliff-hanger! Started out slow at first but I ended up really enjoying it. I read them out of order but am going to read number 1 next. I will definitely read more of her books. no reviews | add a review Contains

For one, Hunter Redfern is supposed to be this big and scary villain but the only time we've really come face to face with him is at Black Dawn. Honestly I don't really feel like he's the villain the story paints him to be. I'd watch out for the witches because it looks like they'll be winning the war hands down. Aside from him who else got his back? How can he run an army if his seasoned and trusted generals is playing for the enemy? Huh! (
