Cushla, have read Imperium, The Emperor and The Soccer War and have Shah of Shahs on my list. Started with The Emperor, about Haile Selassie, which was excellent and am reading my way though all of Kapuscinski's books. Hasn't written a bad one.

27) Emperor Mage by Tamora Pierce- Good book, although I could somehow predict what was going to happen to Ozorne in the end, and I just wouldn't believe that Numair would be dead, considering the great mage he is. So it was different, because Pierce let us explore the different sides of her ... I'm currently reading two books: Emperor Mage and The Dragon Rider. Both are pretty good except I'm not that far into the Dragon Rider yet. I'd love to see a Folio treatment of something by Ryszard Kapuscinski, The Emperor would be great -- or it along with the other two books in his dictators trilogy in one volume.
I think his writing would work well with illustrations similar to the ones in Midnight's Children instead of ... ... Wolf-Speaker right now, and I finished Wild Magic 2 night ago. I think I'll go to the library on Wednesday to get out Emperor Mage. 47c. Emperor Mage and
