Finished off another category with The Oxford Project which was quite fascinating. And added a Booker winner with Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha which was excellent! ... him to. But you can't read Doyle and expect "happy ever after" and this one is no different.
Highly recommended.

I just picked up The Tales Beedle the Bard and read it yesterday. Cute.
It's nice to hear a good review of the Oxford Project, it's been on my wishlist for a while. I'm not sure if it's the kind of book I would buy (and our bookstore doesn't seem to have it). Maybe I can try to do an ... The Oxford Project!!
No library in my area's whole consortium had it, so I called to see if they could borrow it from elsewhere. Instead, my library bought it! It's a big, beautiful book of photographs of the residents of tiny Oxford, Iowa, with accompanying autobiographical vignettes that ... I want to know who got the Oxford Project so i can look in their library and see what other awesome kinds of books they own! I feel like they would have a good library full of great books for my wishlist! ... (If I recall correctly, I requested Dewey, the appetizer book, Museum of Human Beings, and We Bought A Zoo. And The Oxford Project, of course.)
October, October, October! "This'll be the month there's something I'd love and I'll get!" ... I'm taking a photography class this semester and I'd love to get one of the photography books. I might just have to buy The Oxford Project anyway as I've heard good things about it. ooohhh - The Oxford Project!! I've heard about that - the people at my local bookstore were raving about it.

Oxford Project, Latehomecomer and Wednesday Sisters are my recommends of the month. (I did like the others, but just not as ... Both The Oxford Project and One Hundred over 100 just went on my wish list. OMG I wish you could see the first touchstones those two titles just generated. Somebody sprinkled a little angel dust on the site. I think I've selected the appropriate ones now.
