I do faintly remember walking around the house saying "I'm a Very Imp! I'm a Very Imp!". The combination of Stockton and Sendak is not one to miss. The Bee-man heads up a cast of awesome characters and overall, this is just one darn good humorous, adventurous fable. ( )An interesting tale of an old bee-man who goes out into the world to find his true nature. A nice mix of real life and fantasy, the book gets somewhat dark towards the second half as the characters talk to demons about getting their energy "toned up". The ending falls somewhat flat, but overall a neat read. Pretty good illustrations too. no reviews | add a review
