An easy to understand, literal translation of the holy scriptures in modern english. I highly recommend it. ( )

This is my favorite translation of the Bible. I've read other translations and prefer this one by far. Very easy to understand and the subjects in the back help when looking up issues you are pondering (i.e. love, hatred, science, etc.) I do not practice with Jehovah's Witnesses but I do prefer their biblical interpretations of Christianity, and appreciate their love of using the Bible in their convictions rather than other Christian religions who preach with just general knowledge. I keep it handy for when Jehovah's Witnesses come to the door. ( )

Wonderful easy read in modern english without all the thee and thou's. Cross reference, appendix, maps. Bible topics for discussion with scriptural reference. 2Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired of God, and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in rightiousness that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
