Jonathan and his mother walk around the city together and they walk in ways that only they understand. The two of them walk through the streets in many different ways and act as many different things and use their imaginations while exploring. Jonathan explains that many people do not understand what him and his mother are doing, yet he does not care because it is their special thing and they are doing it together. ( )

This non-fiction book is about a little boy and his mommy doing things together that other people may find weird or silly. The whole book explains the day they have together and this could help explain that just because it's not what everyone else does, does not mean it is weird. They enjoy their time together even if its just being silly all day long. The message this book sends is that a mother and child may do things differently than other families, but they love each other no matter what. ( )
