Wow did I luck out!! Found this for $6 at a local discount store. This is a delightful family cook book. Full of all kinds of kitchen projects as well as the hows and whys of kitchen science. The organization of the book is smart. I will be sure to have this one for years to come. We will certainly be making more butter, homemade sausage, and jellies. ( )

This has been a fantastic book to read and cook from with our kids. My son is obsessed with cooking everything from scratch, thanks to this book. ( )

Quite possibly the best and most versatile cookbook EVER, for all ages - don't be fooled into thinking it's mostly for kids - you'll love it as much or more than they do. Beautiful photos, realistic dish appearances, superb explanations, fun add-on projects to enhance enjoyment and learning. Great quality, highly recommended. ( )
