Work detailsThe Key to Rebecca by Ken Follett
This is a 1980 novel, Follett's third, publshed after Eye of the Needle and I thought rather creaky and extremely unsophisticated. There is this evil Nazi spy stealing information from a dopey British officer and being chased by a smart British officer who is hobbled by a dumb superior. All the characters are avid for sex, eespecailly the spy and the dopey British officer whose secrets are stolen by the spy and radioed in code to Rommell. There is a truly exciting chase as the book ends. Not as good as Eye of the Needle and full of unlikely events. ( )NIL As always, I love Follett's spy novels. This one was no exception. Although, there were some very kinky parts to the story...the last 50 pages had me up late last night just so I could finish. I was quite impressed and pleasantly surprised with this, my first Ken Follett novel. Now I'm interested in his other works. Read it. My favourite sort of Follett. Its so nice of the Nazis to provide us with a perpetual villan. no reviews | add a review Is contained inNo Job for a Lady • The Key to Rebecca • Banners of Silk • The Tigris Expedition by Editors of Reader's Digest Code to Zero / The Eye of the Needle / Jackdaws / The Key to Rebecca / The Third Twin by Ken Follett Set of 16 Techno-Thrillers by Ken Follett (Whiteout, Hornet Flight, Jackdaws, Code to Zero, Hammer of Eden, Third Twin, A Place Called Freedom, A Dangerous Fortune, Night Over Water, Lie Down with Lions, Man from St. Petersburg, Key to Rebecca, Triple, Eye of the Needle, Pillars of the Earth) by Ken Follett The Key to Rebecca / The Hammer of Eden by Ken Follett The Key to Rebecca/The Man from St Petersburg by Ken Follett
