Ishmael by Barbara Hambly. ... Return
2 (3 reviews including mine) Ring of Fear
2 (one review, mine) Ryder's Wife
6 (7 reviews, including mine) Ishmael
...etc.
I've now put a review on the third book, For His Daughter - yellow icon but it's still saying 0. The order's also changed as I've added Stopped dates, ... ... while I'm traveling over the next three days. I just wanted to say to GeorgiaDawn that MerryMary's absolutely correct about Ishmael. I *heartily* enjoyed it some 20 years ago. I have a hold placed for Ishmael through ILL at my library Be sure to read Ishmael by Barbara Hambly. It's a Star Trek (TOS) novel in which Spock time travels back to late 19th century Seattle. He is found, injured and suffering from amnesia, by the characters from "Here Come the Brides," including Jeremy Holt (Bobby Sherman). May I humbly recommend Ishmael? I dearly love that one!
Am I to blame? Maybe. I've done worse in my life. Not a bad epitaph: "She brought Star Trek books to the attention of GeorgiaDawn - to her everlasting gratitude!" Nope, for my money, the only truly memorable one is Barbara Hambly. Ishmael was a cross-universe concept that was straight out of fan fiction, but Hambly was good enough that she made it work. Peter David has his moments, I'll grant you, but Hambly is in a class by herself. Actually, speaking of Trek-related offshoots, I just found out that Ishmael by Barbara Hambly is available in a Kindle edition. For those of you unfamiliar with it, it was a cross-universe story with the characters from TOS interacting with characters from Here Come the Brides. As inane as that ... yes Barbara Hambly did one Umm
