#68 The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J.K. Rowling This short book of magical fairy tales has been sitting on my shelf since last Christmas. I thought it was time to give it a go. I was simple and cute. It doesn't add anything to the Harry Potter lore. It is not a must read or anything. I was ...

45/50 The Tales of Beedle The Bard by J. K. Rowling The only reason J. K. wrote this was to get more money for one of her pet charities. I can only see people who are die-hard Potter completists buying this. For the rest of us, there's really no need.

67. The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J K Rowling (08/08/09) Fairy tales from the world of Harry Potter – with commentary from Dumbledore. What I liked about this light and readable little book was the way in which the ‘themes’ of the stories were explored in this commentary. I thought ...
