This folktale from Gabon is a good read with colorful pictures. Students will like looking at the pictures. The story revolves around a tree that gives the animals fruit. Only one person is able to bring back that name of the fruit in order for people to eat. Teacher can use this book for interactive writing, and also if trying to expose children to different folktales from different countries. ( )
