"On a tour of the National Aquarium, Nancy finds that murder is the main attraction. But before Nancy can meet Annie, the controversial curator meets a violent death! Was Annie about to expose an illegal polluter... or did someone inside the aquarium use the dispute as a cover-up to carry out a personal vendetta? From the exotic aquatic exhibits in Baltimore to the shores of Chesapeake Bay, Nancy looks to close out the case before the sharks close in for another kill." (Back Matter)

Despite a few slow parts throughout the book, I really liked this plot. I loved that it took place around so many marine animals, although wondering which animal would get hurt next wasn't fun. I guessed one of the culprits fairly quickly, but I didn't figure out the connection until the end. I love it when Nancy Drew books are actually suspenseful like that. (
