I just finished The Marriage Of Sticks. It was quite different from (and just barely related to) Kissing The Beehive. Maybe the third book in the trilogy will tie them more closely together.
next for me is All The Rage well I'm still reading The Marriage Of Sticks (the second book in a loose trilogy to which The Wooden Sea, mentioned above, is the third and final part.) This has not been my month for reading up til now, BUT I have all next week off and the time I should spend enjoying the ... ... Carroll and I thought all his books had a paranormal/"magical realism" element) which didn't come.
next up: The Marriage Of Sticks, being the second volume in Carroll's Crane's View Trilogy ... The Land of Laughs was my first encounter with him in the '80s and I still love it. Sleeping in Flame is fantastic and The Marriage of Sticks is great too. Characters wander in and out of his books, but you can read his stuff in any order.
42. Un Lun Dun by China Mieville An "e ... >49 Carroll is usually an enjoyable read. Try Marriage of Sticks or Outside the Dog Museum, both should be easily obtainable (he always has a dog in all his books) ... the same catastrophy as before
