"This volume locked in battle with Ry?kotsusei - the same demon responsible for his father's death - Inu-Yasha may have a chance at victory... but not if he can't master the "Backlash Wave" (Bakuryu-ha). Meanwhile, when Kagome is bitten by Tsubak's familiar, the Shikon Jewel shards themselves are affected. What can it mean for the shards to turn black...?"--P. [4] of cover.… (more) |

それぞれに宿命を背負い、奈落を追って旅を続ける犬夜叉たち一行。苦難もあるが、明日を見つめて・・・笑っていられる。・・・・・みんなと一緒にだから!
Inbetween the main story line, there are two short stories. In the first one, Shippou plays a large role and he fights a youkai alone. In the other one, Sango follows Miroku to battle a youkai while Kagome, Shippou and Inuyasha stay behind. Kouga also appears in this volume and fights with Kagura. An interesting discovery is made about Naraku¿s nature, which might be useful in later volumes. In the last chapter a new 'Naraku-offspring' appears.
The art is drawn in the same way as other volumes, which I like, but story-wise there doesn't happen much in this volume. The Shippou-story is cute, though.
