I really enjoyed this book. It was so funny how Clifford tried so hard to get the neighbors to like him and they refused. Finally, when Clifford saved the neighbor's birds, they decided he wasn't so bad afterall. The pictures in this book are really cute. You could have the kids brainstorm ideas of what Clifford could have done in order to get the neighbors to like him. ( )

Clifford’s attempts to befriend the neighbors only make them hate him even more. He finally wins them over when he rescues the birds in their yard from a cat. ( )
