25. Rant! #16 dodger, I read The Tao of Pooh after my son said, yet again, "You must read this." I'm getting more and more of those comments from him!
I'm Eeyore most of the time, but I do have my Tigger moments. Eeyore for me!
If anyone wants to read way too much into the philosophy of Pooh characters, read The Tao of Pooh. It's a fun little read. 55. The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff
I really loved this book. I've always loved Pooh. I've always wanted to learn more about Taoism.
Unfortunately, the principles are so hard to put into action is today's world. Try "Doing Nothing" when it comes to your job, and you'll usually find ... ... keep insisting on its creepiness-value.) I think I'll enjoy James' other novels more, when I get around to them.
17) The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff--Not bad. He had some interesting parallels to make between Taoism and Poohism, but the main effect of the book was to make me want to go ... ... one of my favorite Christopher Pike books from when I was an actual YA! ;)

... is one of the best scenes in literature ever written, I think. One thing that got me interested in the Pooh stories is The Tao of Pooh.

The ... ... "Not Fluffy" book"! I enjoyed this second, longer Hoff book, but I really didn't get as much out of it as I did from the Tao of Pooh. Currently I'm reading Ironside: A Modern Faery's Tale by Holly Black. I took a (possibly permenant) break from The Idiot Girls' Action-Adventure Club and started The Tao of Pooh...but I'm having trouble with that, as well.
