... Tortall. And I have read most, if not all, of the Protector of the Small books, which are not quite as good, IMO. I've read Trickster's Choice which is about Alanna's daughter, but not it's sequel Trickster's Queen yet, although it's sitting on my shelf. I haven't read any of the Beka Cooper ...

Jeez, it's August already? I almost posted in last month's thread. Anyway, this is from today (all from work): * Trickster's Choice by Tamora Pierce * Night Shift by Lilith Saintcrow (It's so weird I found this one, because I dreamed I was book shopping the other night--silly, I ...

Pierce's The Trickster's Choice is excellent. It has a lot of action and suspense; there is also a sequel to the book, The Trickster's Queen.

#52 ronincats: I guess I should've clarified that. Anyways, thanx for clarifying and I'm planning on reading the Trickster series, so thanx also for saying reading The Immortals before is a good idea! :) #53 Ron: Thanx Ron! I look forward to knowing what you think of Physik!

I am reading Tamora Pierce's Trickster's Choice. I really enjoyed her books when I was a children's/ya librarian in a public library, but got away from them when I went to elementary school. There's a gap between it and the last one the Alanna series, so I need to check those out. I did read T ...

... Lackey. I also like the Oathbound-Oathbreakers duology. I like almost all of Tamora Pierce's books but chose the Trickster duology because I think it is one of the strongest. Of course, it builds directly on the Alanna series because they are her parents. The Dalemark Quartet is ...

Took some time off yesterday and read Trickster's Choice. I would have taken it out of the library sooner had I realized that it was a story involving a main character from her Tortall series. Hope the next one is still checked in at the library as I want to read it ASAP.
