Misunderstandings abound in this tale of Amelia Bedelia at the science fair. I believe students will laugh out loud at the funny things Amelia thinks based on misunderstandings with words. All ends well when the mad (angry) scientist regains his wig and Amelia Bedelia the chemist (cook) produces a lemon meringue pie.
